Add direct live video URLs as tunable channels in Elite. Playback uses Elite's existing Live TV player.
Preview a playlist, select the channels you want, and add them to Live TV. Existing HDHomeRun channels are unchanged.
Each imported playlist has its own XMLTV guide. Refreshing one will not replace HDHomeRun schedules.
Enable only the channels you want, rename them, change the displayed channel number, and manually map a guide ID when automatic matching needs help. DRM channels are shown locked.
Recording quality is controlled by the administrator. Users only see Record, Record from beginning, and Record series.
Use one or more hardware encoders. Elite Media Center can automatically send each new transcode to the least-busy enabled GPU and use CPU encoding only as a controlled fallback.
Controls target bitrates of new remote sessions. Does not shape traffic for other applications.
Each device runs a 1 MB download test from Elite when it signs in or its network changes. Automatic playback uses about 70% of the result as its starting ceiling, never above the account limit. Kept in memory for 24 hours; cleared when Elite restarts.
Measures THIS device ↔ the Elite server through the current website address (including Caddy when remote). HTTP round-trip, not ICMP.
Small noncached transfers, max 4 MB in either direction per run. Tests on Wi-Fi or VPN reflect that connection.
The remote HTTPS gateway has separate access controls. Remote bitrate settings here affect Elite sessions; they do not change your router settings or other applications.

Database and FFmpeg paths can be edited here. Move artwork to the NAS with the separate verified migration tool below. Keep SQLite on a local SSD for reliability.
R: is managed by your separate RAM-disk application. New streams prefer RAM and automatically use NVMe when R: is unavailable or short on space. Running streams are never moved.
The NVMe budget prevents new fallback allocations when reached; it is not a filesystem quota. Active encoders continue until they finish, so actual use can temporarily exceed this budget.
The old directory stays untouched. Elite copies and SHA-256 verifies every file before changing the active path. Choose an unused destination folder within a reachable NAS share. Do not run a scan during the move. For Windows services, use a UNC path rather than a mapped drive letter.
FFmpeg/HLS temporary files can use a separate disk. If the NAS becomes unavailable, Elite will report an error rather than silently filling C: with artwork.
Change your own administrator username or password. Your current password is required.

Titles display exactly as matched. Sorting ignores a leading The, A, or An. Set Sort Title only to override alphabetical placement.

Send video to an Elite TV Receiver. Browser device casting depends on TV support; some Roku connections transmit audio only. We will not claim a transfer until the receiver confirms video playback.
Google Cast requires a supported Chrome browser and a Google Cast receiver on the same network. Roku TV video support requires a compatible receiver app.
